Dog-walk records and neighborhood map sharing

An app for each dog’s walks, health schedules and shared neighborhood hazards. I kept private routes on the device and implemented a separate sharing flow for markers and photos selected by the user.

Walks and health records by dog

The app records route, distance and duration for each dog and shows daily, weekly and monthly statistics. Reminders cover vaccination, medication and parasite-treatment schedules.

Sharing and reporting nearby places

Shared markers are stored in Firestore and queried by geohash. I implemented creation, reporting and deletion, filtering markers that reach the report threshold when the map list is loaded.

Separating private routes from shared locations

Original walk routes remain on the device. Shared marker coordinates receive an offset of roughly 15 metres so the exact location is not exposed unchanged.
