Location sharing for travelling alone
An app that shares location, destination and travel status through an expiring link. I separated shareable location summaries from original records and modelled stops, route deviations and SOS as session states.

What the shared link exposes
A hard-to-guess, expiring URL displays only the location and status summary updated by Cloud Functions. Original sessions and travel records remain accessible only to their owner.
Checking stops during a session
A prolonged stop can itself require attention during a journey. GPS sampling continues throughout the session, with separate handling for long stops, route deviations and SOS.
Showing location freshness
The interface identifies lost connections or delayed updates rather than presenting an old position as current. Riverpod, MapLibre and Geolocator connect with Firestore and SQLite to manage state and records.
